How print and digital design can grow your business in 2025

Now that we’re settled into the year, is 2025 going to be the year for a fresh new look for your business? Or perhaps you’re just starting out and not sure where to begin when it comes to branding and design.

Well first, let's understand what we mean when we say “design.” Everything around us has been designed in some way or another, but we want to focus on the graphic design side. Why is this important to a business? Good design enhances your image, strengthens your branding, and makes your business more memorable. That’s why we always recommend a consistent mix of print and digital design.

Why good design is important

Customers are more likely to recognise your brand when it maintains a clear and consistent visual identity. A well-designed logo, cohesive colour scheme, and thoughtful typography create an immediate link between your business and the positive experiences associated with it. This consistency not only strengthens brand recognition but also conveys professionalism and reliability. When the elements of your branding are thoughtfully aligned, they signal to customers that your business is well-organised and trustworthy. Just a quick glance at your logo or brand colours can trigger these memories, reinforcing trust, familiarity, and confidence in your services.

In addition to improving brand recall, strong design can also streamline your marketing efforts. Customers who have a positive perception of your brand are more inclined to trust and engage with new products or services. This means you can introduce new offerings more efficiently, as customers naturally extend their trust to anything that carries your familiar branding. Clear brand guidelines, templates, and design systems also make your team’s life easier. These elements create consistency, making it simpler for customers to recognise, navigate, and engage with your brand while providing a reliable framework for your marketing efforts.

Digital design

Digital design includes everything from your company logo to social media graphics, email newsletters, and any other design that isn’t physically printed. Why does this matter? Digital assets reinforce your branding, ensuring your business looks cohesive and professional across all platforms.
A strong digital presence not only makes your business more recognisable but also guides your audience towards action. Whether it’s visiting your website, signing up for a newsletter, or making a purchase. Good design captures attention, sets you apart from competitors, and leaves a great first impression.

Design for print

Even though there is a heavy lean towards digital content, print marketing remains an effective way to connect with your audience. Whether you’re distributing flyers around town or handing out business cards, print materials create a tangible connection with your community. Plus, not everyone is online, so print ensures your message reaches a broader audience.
Unlike digital ads that can be easily scrolled past, print materials leave a lasting impression. There’s something special about tangible materials, and people tend to remember things they’ve physically held and read, making print an excellent tool for brand recall. It also allows for more creative expression with different paper types, finishes, and formats, giving your brand a personal and trustworthy feel.

By combining both print and digital design, you can create a seamless brand experience that strengthens recognition and trust.

Adults Aligned business cards

The Project:

Adults Aligned came to us for some fresh business cards following their recent website redesign. Designed for new businesses eager to make in-person connections, these business cards reflect their brand vision with chosen colours and bold fonts. Without a set logo, we refined the layout through iterations to create a simple yet informative design that effectively represents their business.

The Forbidden Corner

The Forbidden Corner

The Project:

The Forbidden Corner came to us for help creating a 12-panel guidebook to align with their refreshed branding. The guide needed to provide visitors with an overview of the facilities, a checklist of experiences, and space for a custom-illustrated map. The design balances information with magic and intrigue, allowing visitors to track their journey without revealing too much and preserving the excitement of discovery.
