After a hectic couple of weeks launching some wonderful new websites for our clients we thought it was about time we shared a blog about our recent awards success!
At the beginning of the year, Emma set to work nominating our wonderful team for the Richmond Business Excellence Awards.
Shortlisting for the awards took place at the beginning of March, before lockdown, and we found out we were up for awards in two categories; Employer of the Year and IT, Media and Tech. Due to the pandemic, the presentation of the awards which was set to be back in March was re-arranged several times thanks to the hard work of the Original Richmond team!
The awards ceremony was finally able to take place on the 15th September at St. Mary's Church in RIchmond. However, due to newly introduced government guidelines there were no posh frocks dusted off and we all sat down to watch the proceedings from the comfort of our sofas as it had to be shared via live stream!
We were overjoyed to learn that we had come out on top in the 'Employer of the Year' category despite being up against some very tough competition from some other fab local businesses!
We were then extremely shocked - and overwhelmed - to hear we had then been awarded the David Doorbar Award for Excellence, an extemely prestigious title awarded to just one of the previous category winners! We are over the moon to join the line up of businesses who have won this award in the past.
