In April 2013 the Estate at Aske was used as a film location for I am Soldier and the film is now available to watch on Netflix.

The film, which features Noel Clarke of Doctor Who and Star Trek fame, and Tom Hughes, star of TV and many films, is about the most dangerous military selection known to man, the S.A.S.

Filming took part in various areas of the Aske Stables and some of the Purple team were even invited to be extras - not that we did!

Filming also took place at Adrenalin North Yorkshire Ltd who are also based on the Estate and is the official ITV Krypton Factor assault course!

Unfortunately none of the Purple team are in the film but if you watch the film, make sure you watch the credits closely at the end as you will see reference to the Zetland Estate and Phil Upton at Purple Creative!
