Purple is growing and we are excited to announce that we are now looking to take on an Apprentice!
In conjunction with Baltic Training, of Newton Aycliffe, we are looking to employ an Apprentice from the Software Development category who will join our team as a Junior Website Developer.
We are looking for someone who will be involved in every step of designing, creating and launching a diverse range of websites. Not only will they learn about Purple, engaging with clients and learning new skills but they will also be put through a formal education programme managed by Baltic Training.
Job Description
You will be working in a busy office as part of a team where you will be involved in every step of designing, creating and launching websites. You will need to have excellent communication skills, a desire to learn as well as a passion for IT.
You will learn how to work within the framework of DotNetNuke and you will help to create a range of websites ranging from small brochure sites to large, responsive, e-commerce websites.
During the Apprenticeship you will learn the following key skills:
- Software Design and Testing
- SQL
- Object Orientated C# Programming
- Unix Fundamentals
- Event Driven Programming using Visual Basic.NET

Entry Requirements
- GCSEs, or equivalent educational attainment
- Ability to demonstrate that you have a reasonable expectation of achieving the required outcomes of the Advanced Apprenticeship
