Being proud of our Richmond roots we were honoured to be approached to create a whole new website for Richmond Town Council. And now we’re happy to say that after months of work the website is now live!
It was no mean feat being tasked with creating the website to be the face of our Town Council and our beloved market town of Richmond. But being surrounded by so many historic sites where better to start than to showcase them? The new Richmond Town Council website involves a bespoke design featuring beautiful banner images of the town. Photographer Tom Kolour has captured the spirit of the town from our well-known landmarks to the many market offerings for us to create a user-friendly yet informative interface. Visitors are greeted with stunning images of the idyllic market town we are lucky enough to call home and provided with insightful information surrounding it’s history and the role Richmond Town Council has played within it.
Richmond Town Council is often working behind the scenes with many oblivious to the work they do. From ensuring public areas are maintained to hosting popular events such as the annual Bonfire Night Firework display the Town Council are the driving force. The new website provides residents and visitors with a comprehensive resource to discover who the Town Council are and what they are involved in on a daily basis in upkeeping the town and services they can offer.
In coming weeks, we will be holding training for Council members, allowing them the freedom to update the website themselves ensuring residents are fully informed of upcoming events and meetings. Find out more about Richmond Town Council and discover upcoming events by heading over to the new website here!
